Gratitude to be shared

I once began this blog because I believed the Lord was calling me to find a way to be openly grateful. And, as I have been blessed to live through another year, I feel the Lord calling me again to have a posture of gratitude. Every day, I will share something that I choose to be grateful for because of God.

Well, there's no better time like the present to begin!

I am grateful for the support we share as SI staff. Today, I helped a co-worker go to the clinic to have blood drawn. When we don't feel well there seems to ALWAYS be someone there to help us come back to good health and to be in prayer for healing.

Thankfulness oh where are you? Day 24

Sometimes I complain. Okay sometimes I complain a lot. But sometimes I'm positive! So today I'm going to turn my complaint into a positive comment!

I am thankful that my hips merely hurt and that at a young age I don't have any major physical difficulties. I could be worse off then I am.

Thankfulness oh where are you? Day 23

I'm love to eat food. I love good company. I love me some chicken and green vegitables. I love going to my aunt and uncles house to hang out, talk and just eat some good food.

Today I'm thankful I have family that enjoy my company and always feed me well.

So far the things I have been thankful for I think both make send and don't. Leave it to me to say things that are random.

As I sit up at grandmas house I am thankful for my phone. While I sometimes really dislike the technology that is taking over the world, I do love the convenience of it. I've been able to talk to my other grandma on the phone tonight as well as connect with a friend that lives in Kenya (Viber is a wonderful app!).

I'm so thankful for good days. Sometimes I feel like my days are more positive (or productive) then others. While I didn't do much in my day, I did feel like it was a good day. :)

Birthdays! I love birthdays! But I also love my daddy. Today is his birthday and I'm thankful that my daddy was born today. Only 32 years ago. ;p

Thankfulness oh where are you? Day~19

Today I am reminded of Cory's message where he shared that we need not only be thankful for things and post about them, but we have an opportunity to worship God and to be thankful FOR HIM. Now, I think this goes without saying...and I would like to end my #monthofthankfulness by thanking God for who He is, but tonight I choose to be thankful for worship. Being able to praise my maker, especially with my friends, is something I highly treasure.
