October 31st

I've been having some awful back problems and started going to a chiropractor for it. Today is just one of those days where I needed to take ibuprofen. I'm thankful that man could figure out how to make something to help ease my pain (and don't worry I don't take it very often or very much). Thank you God for this gift to help me feel better when I am sore.

October 30th

I'm thankful for the fun times of a basket ball game. :) I went to my first basket ball game at Bethel tonight. It was a blast especially because a bunch of friends and I dressed up as ipods.

October 29th

I'm thankful for Chapel...I started out my day really not ready for this week. I didn't like how last week went and then this week started off and in English class I just all of a sudden had a bucket of stress fall on top of me...this is literally how I felt. But then I went to Chapel, and Andrew Collins (go to this link and you can listen to him) just spoke words of the Lord. My message was told to be positive  The rest of my day felt better, still a bit stressful but it was a gift by God. Thank you Bethel College For His Love Never Ends.

October 28th

I'm thankful for Katayama's (along with the Yoshimoto's). I called and then tried to face time my family back home tonight. Tomorrow is Bethy's birthday and I missed having family dinner with them all to celebrate my fantastic cousin. They even had tri-tip! It's sad but something I will have to get used to. I thank God for them either way. :)

I love gum! It is fun to chew. Fun to eat. You can throw it out when you have grown tired of it. You can have it minty or sweet. Yum Yum Yum I thank God for gum.

I'm thankful for so many different things...but tonight was a hardish night. I am going to decide on being thankful for CHOCOLATE!!! It was something that I just needed tonight while watching a movie. I had more chocolate than I normally eat and I had a choco pudding. Yum and yum!

Ocotober 23rd

Do you ever have the feeling God is trying to tell you something but the message just isn't all that clear? Well I have heard the story of Abraham a lot this week. It's almost weird. So as I read about Abraham I decided, why shouldn't I be thankful for such an awesome guy?! He doubted God, loved God, served God, and was dedicated to Him. I want to learn to be more like Abraham and grow in my relationship with God.

October 22nd

Blood. It can be gross, it can be cool, it good though when you see it after a cut. I cut my finger today and it bled rather than bled inside my finger to make a blister. I'm thankful for blood. It means I'm alive and living and healthy. Blood can safe a life too if you donate! Thank you God for blood.

October 20th

Today was a really awesome day. I slept in. Got ready for my day. Did some home work. Watched the NorteDame football game. And it was all a good Saturday to my fall break. I'm thankful for my friend Jess tonight. She is fun to hang around and is always honest with me. We both live far away from home and miss it. I'm glad we have been able to get to know each other, hang out, and just be really cool friends.

I originally was going to be thankful for my iphone but then I remembered that I spent most of my day with my good friend Danielle. :) She was so sweet to drive me around and help me because I don't have a car. It was a great day that we had just spending time together.

October 17th

Today is just one of those days I really am not sure what I am thankful for.
Thinking back on my day I will chose to be thankful for bananas. My roommates love them and I have started to eat them more. I found a recipe that makes a great banana milk shake that I made for breakfast today. It is yummy. :)

October 16th

Procrastination...There is nothing like it, especially the night before a big test. I am very good at procrastination ant this is not a good thing. I learned this in my ASL class today. I am slowly getting better and worse at this. I know with my home work I have to work on this diligently and with a focused mind and willing heart.

October 15th

I like to eat and often when I eat I don't eat neatly. But that's okay, I normally don't mind. Sometimes though it can be a bad thing, other times it can be a good thing. Tonight I chose to be thankful for being a mess when I eat.

I helped out all day with a Newsboys/Building429/Luminate concert. This was an amazing day filled with fun fun and busyness. It was a day to be thankful.

I'm thankful for questions. Sometimes they run through my head faster than anyone could expect...and sometimes they are annoying to listen to. Either way they can be a good thing. I choose tonight to be thankful for questions.

Something became apparent in my theology class today. In most all of my classes we pray before we start class. It's so different from the last college I went to but I love it.

Tonight I am thankful for wet hair. I normally enjoy going to bed with dry hair but considering it is easier to get up in the morning and be ready for class so going to bet with a wet head of hair is my best option. Here's to winter and seeing how this whole cold thing goes, especially cuz my hair is in the process of being prepared for donating.

October 10th

I'm thankful for canceled bible studies. While I LOVE my bible study gals I have a ton of homework to do. This was a crazy part of my day/week. Today I am so thankful my bible study was canceled so I can finish studying for my test and working on my assignments.

October 9th

I love vanilla ice rages. Our campus has a coffee shop on campus and my roommate bought a vanilla ice rage for a friend of hers but ended up not giving it to him. Instead it was put in the freezer for me to eat today. I need it right now and am so thankful for these amazing little gifts from God.

October 8th

I am slowly starting to get busier and busier...which comes with more and more stress.
Monday's are...well the beginning and difficult. But if I didn't have Mondays to get through then I don't know what life would be like. I am thankful for Mondays, the least liked day of the week.

Great series!

 Do you know what it is like to read? Do you like it? Do you enjoy letting weird things come together to be called letters? Letters that come together and make words? I know that I am blessed to be able to read. I am blessed to have the education I am receiving by living in America. I don't know for sure that if I were in another country I would be receiving the same education. In fact I know I wouldn't be. As an American Sign Language major I wouldn't be going to college and majoring as an ASL interpreting major. I have so many books to read right now it is a little overwhelming, but I know that I am thankful for the ability to read. I am thankful to live in America.

Today I talked to my mommy for about an hour. :) It was really nice. I love my family.
I also love phone calls. :)
Hour long phone calls are amazing. I enjoy talking on the phone a lot. I think as much as texting.

I love birthdays. They can always make any day better. :) I had two friends who had birthday's today. I went out with my friend Andrea for dinner/dessert and it was something God knew i needed. Before hand I was complaining to my roommate I had to much homework and God just knew I needed a night of fun. It brightened my night and was a highlight of my day.

October 3rd

Okay while I'm not a big book reader...I choose to be thankful for books today. I surround myself with books during school. Not just school books but other books too. I just bought not a fan and received it in the mail today. I am excited to start reading it. I also am about to disuss The Cure with my bible study group via Skype. :) Like I said I'm not a big fan of books but they are an important part of life. You can learn from them in many different ways and from many differnt books.

Today the whole campus had class canceled. It was very lovely. Instead of class we all picked a service project to do. It was awesome. :)

And as I begin a new month with a bang I am so thankful for newborn babies that allow class to be canceled. It was a huge blessing to have this class canceled. :)
