I'm thankful for chocolate satin pie, for zinc medicine and for naps that God wakes me up from. I'm thankful for remix and for having students who love me and a church body who cares for me. :) I'm thankful for spending time with roommates and for the love they share with me.

December 14th

I'm thankful for productive days. For things to come. The things of now. God knows what I need and I know I can rely on Him. It is merely my decision to decide what I will do in my service to Him in the present to prepare for the future. :)

December 12th

I did not forget to post on here and neither did I remember. Most of the time I could not easily access time to sit down and take time to post something I am thankful for.
Is that pathetic?

I think taking over a week to post is a little bit pathetic...but I think I'm on now and ready to share with the world (or all who read this) that I am indeed thankful. I will bullet a short list to night as I am soon headed off to bed.

• Christmas songs coming from the gazebo (walking on campus you hear music emanating, it is such a lovely sound to be heard).

I'm sure you can see my list could go on and on, but I will stop here for tonight.

December 5th

I love this guy. :) 

He's the coolest and is working hard on the farm (with his bro-ey) to keep the orange trees alive. 

I'm thankful for my daddy and his dedication to his job. Without his hard work I wouldn't be a Bethel today.

On the 4th of December I am thankful for...

4 (fantastic) family members.
3 great roommates
2 days left of classes (this week)
and a partridge in a pear tree. ;)

Okay so I won't sing the 12 days of Christmas, but I will be thankful for something today. I am thankful for working out and feeling good after a visit to the Chiropractor. I had a lot of good things today and am so happy I was able to have it all. I went to the Chiropractor because I regularly go and they adjusted me. I think the massage was relaxing and just what I needed. then I went to the workout facility and did a hip hop class with my roommie. It was a good day to exercise and relax. I thank God for giving me the ability to do this today. :)

One challenge, my challenge

Tonight my SOLID (Serving Our Lord In Diligence) girls and I read through Philippians 3. We talked a bit about how last week we had the challenge to be joyful...and how that flows into this week with holding onto things. When we do that we allow ourselfs to stall at running the race for the Lord. I challenged the girls to write down (in any way) something they are thankful for or blessed with/by.
So here I am doing exactly what I told them to do. Together we are doing exactly as we are called to in Philippians 3:14&15. Today I am thankful for and blessed by the Admissions office. I normally don't work on Tuesday's but today was just what I needed from all the staff. They were all right where I needed them when I didn't expect it. :)

Are you still thankful?

I learn so much from listening to the sermon that Jimmy gives at Remix all the time. Tonight he talked about "Thank Therapy". Translation...why are we thankful? And more specifically, what is our attitude in being thankful? I know I am thankful (hello that's why I started this blog right?) but how much does it show through when I grumble to my mom. How much does being thankful show when I complain? How much am I showing Philippians 2:15&15? "Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you might become blameless and pure, 'children of God without fault in a warped a crooked generation'".

Now I know it's not thanksgiving, and I know this blog has finished it's 366 days of thankfulness..but why can't I be thankful on a random day? Especially after thanksgiving when people just seem to forget what they were thankful for?

Today I'm thankful for a positive attitude even in the midst of stress.
