I'm learning to thank God IN my day. I have gotten through so many hours of homework and classes today I am impressed with myself. I think as there are a total of 32 days left to be thankful for I will be thankful for God's goodness. He always helps me through a tough day. :)

November 27th

I have lately been feeling like I just don't know what I should be thankful for on my blog because my day is just so mundane and nothing hip is hoppin'! But I was out rocking with my amazing roommate Rachel today and I realized that I probably haven't been talking to God as much as I could be. Why did I start this blog in the first place but to be thankful to God FOR all He has given me because HIS LOVE NEVER ENDS. I am thankful that I can have the opportunity to strengthen my prayer life through thanking my Father, asking Him for help or direction, praying for others, confessing my sins to Him, and just praising Him for who He is. I serve a mighty God, and love to know I can always run to him through prayer (even when it is merely something I am thankful for on my blog).

I'm thankful for whales. They are so yummy and delicious and I really should stop eating them. Who knew cheese cracker snacks could be so good!

November 25th

I'm thankful for cookie! I ate some good chocolate chip cookies when I got back home today. I love me some cookies! I'm so glad God allowed these to be invented. :)

I'm thankful for my friends Katie and Matthew. :) They have been longtime friends since I was a kid but Skyping Matt tonight was such a joy.

I'm thankful for orange juice. Freshly squeezed is the best but if it's store bought that's okay too. :)

November 22nd

I'm thankful for a turkey dinner. I had a lovely Thanksgiving with the Harts this year and enjoyed the Thanksgiving lunch and the leftovers that were available for dinner. It was a great Thanksgiving. The reason to give thanks all goes to my Heavenly Father, Yahweh.

November 21st

Katie and I ran out to do some errands and I loved the dollar tree! We found some awesome Christmas stuff there. Then we bought toys and got free yo yo (fro yo) for the family. :)

November 20th

As I have been mulling over what to post I have 2 things I am thankful for today. And maybe this well replace the time I was thankful for grandma and grandpa twice. Today is my daddy's birthday. I miss him and am thankful for him. I also had a lot of errands to do and am thankful for my iPhone. It has helped me get through and make it from one place to another. :)

November 19th

I love my new testament bible class that I have on Monday nights. There is always a lot of homework on it but my teacher is having us read through the new testament. I haven't been thankful for the Bible yet and this is something I am thankful for. I learn so much through it and love what I have been learning in this class as it connects with my life. The bible is such an important part of my life and without it there is no doubt I would be who I am today.

November 18th

Tonight I listened to to an awesome sermon at REMIX. It was geared toward the topic "God outside of the box". It really helped me wrap my head around who God is. He isn't contained inside a box, but He is so vast and powerful outside of the box. Louie Giglio gave an awesome sermon on the universe and the solar system. Through this message you can see the direction being pointed toward God.

These are some of the notes I took while listening to Louie. 

• I am a small thing. 
• God is so big and incomparable. 
• The solar system glorifies God. 
• I can glorify God in the little things and in the big things (like those Christian astronomers). 
• I'm a little blurb in Gods great big galaxy/timeline. 
• God's grace is an astronomical grace. 
• My God is incomprehensible. Indescribable. 
• I can trust God for the rest of my days. 
• I know in all things I can do it through my great and might Lord. 
• Romans 8:31

God is so much bigger than any of my little problems  When I feel like I can't do anything I must remember that God can. I am thankful for a great God who created the universe.

November 17th

I'm so thankful for random dessert. Tonight I made Easton’s deluxe popcorn combo. It contains raw brownie mix, ice cream and popcorn combo. It would have been better if it was made with butter popcorn rather than kettle corn though. Such a random dessert, but such good flavor! ©Easton Katayama “Deluxe popcorn”

Hungry hungry hippos. Have you ever played this game? I played life size hungry hungry hippos and it was so much fun! :)

I'm thankful that my roommates listen to country music. I have found out that about 1/2 the people I meet like it and the other 1/2 don't. What a coincidence that all three of my roommates do?! I just love them. <3

November 14th

While Kendra's birthday is coming up soon I realized how thankful I am for this sweet friend of mine. We've been friends for ages. Even though we don't live in the same state or only talk to each other here and there I love Kendra and still call her my best friend. Without her I don't know if I would be where I am today. She has helped me through the difficult times in life, and laughed with me through the good. I'm so thankful for the sister I have in Christ, my bff, Kendy. :) 

November 13th

Nail polish! Duh! Now I don't see it on my list and soon will have to go through my list and my blog to make sure I have all of my things I am thankful for in order. I have been faithful in what I can find to be thankful for. It's all of those little things...like  colorful nail polish for example! :)

November 12th

I'm thankful for my sweet cousin Shelby.

Today is her birthday and I missed out on going bowling with the family today. 

It sounded like way too much fun. 

It the little things in life that you are thankful for...and sometimes they come when you just aren't able to experience them. 

I did get to call my cool cousin and talk to her though. 

I love to laugh with her and just be able to call her family.

I'm blessed and am thankful for Shelby's birthday.

Windows: they let in fresh air when it is warm and stuffy. Whoever came up with these inventions were pretty smart. :)

November 10th

I'm thankful for the Bible. It has caused so much stress in my life today but in the end I am so thankful for it. I love learning what God wants me to learn from it and in a whole new way I never thought I might have realized. I have a new testament bible class and really am learning to have faith and trust in God. I love all of the information I am learning. God's word is active and without it I wouldn't grow into the woman of God I am supposed to be.

November 9th

Happy Birthday!

Today was a fabulous day! While I hardly got any homework done I helped celebrate my roommate Heather's Birthday. She is more than my roommate but she's my friend. Rachel and I started the day out by chalking out a path from our apartments to Chapel. We had some friends helping us along the way thinking of fun unique things that make Heather special to us. We all had a busy school day and concluded our evening my taking Heather to Panera, Charming Charlies and Urban Swirl, bringing it back to our dorm, and watched Spiderman 4. I'm so thankful that I could be a part of celebrating such a wonderful friend in my life. Happy Birthday Heather!

November 8th

So there's this thing I do with my friend Rachel...it goes something like this.
Walking + Running = Rocking. (or in Rachel's case...) Walking + Running = Wunning.
It's a great success. :)

November 7th

I'm thankful for the quickness in my studying for a test. I have trouble studying for my Theology tests and it always helps when I make note cards. Today I don't think I did as the last test but I still did okay. I thank God that I have the ability to take theology tests. :)

November 6th

I'm thankful for running apps. I went rocking (a combination of running and walking) tonight with my roommates. It was fun because I took my phone with me for the first time and recorded it. I really like this whole rocking with the app tracker.

November 5th

I'm thankful for late nights. I tend to go to sleep late and with a test tomorrow I am thankful that I can stay up late (although I need the sleep and will be catching up tomor...er today).

November 4th

Oh I am thankful for a day where I can preserver. I had a busy week and had to get a lot of home work done today. In the time that it is frustrating I must remember that it is a gift I am able to learn. Perseverance is key in these times.

November 3rd

I'm thankful for an extra hour of sleep...I'm about to write a paper and it's 12:20...except for the fact tonight is daylight savings! Woo hoo!

November 2nd

While I don't like doing laundry, I have learned to do my own laundry at school. It's been something that isn't as hard as I thought. I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to have dirty laundry and to be able to do my own laundry.

November 1st

Food. I eat it all day long. Breakfast. Snack. Lunch. Snack. Pre-dinner (snack). Dinner. Snack. Sometimes dessert. Another snack. My day is full of food. I am most always eating something or drinking it. I have found I like to make smoothies, desserts, soup (from a can) and many other things. I'm not the baker or the chef of the family back home...but in my apartment here I do like to make random things and cook. I guess you can call me innovative  It's fun. I'm extra thankful for food because I don't ever go hungry. Other people in our country and in other countries are starving and need food and don't have the means to get it. This is a reason why I do my very best not to waist food. It's a bad thing to do and I just don't like that. Overall I am thankful for food. :)
