May I be honest with you? I did not read Jonah 4 last night, although I did have small group and looked up scripture with my students and then went to vespers where I love the message Gavin gave. The scripture passages he used were an evident part of my life that I need to work on.
Tonight I DID read Jonah 4. I feel like Jonah. My life isn't bad bu sometimes I wish God would do wtih others as he does with me. That they would be challenged and grow through their difficulty.
But you see, I told my group of high schoolers on Sunday that the only person you can change is yourself. Why is that? Well let me tell you that change doesn't come easy, but peace in Christ is easy to seek. I am the one who needs a heart check before I can even think about correcting others.
